Yes I said it. There is some benefits to cold weather such as ice. I love the artistic look of ice cycles falling off of a water wheel clinging to rocks wood and anything else that has plenty of cold air and water working with each other. My last trip to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We had a nice snow fall in the mountains, but I wasn't able to get there till two days later and with our spring weather coming in. The snow had already melted and most of the ice was gone. The ice cycles that were left were falling off the edges of the mountains and everything else that had it hanging. I don't need the snow and ice anyway. To me Cades Cove is beautiful any time of year, And that is a fact. The fields were full of wild turkey and deer but it is still early for the bears to be out. Give it another month and you can go up there and see the black bears with their cubs in the fields. You can even see some idiots out there with point and shut cameras trying to get as close as possible. They don't really that a mother bear can outrun them and will attack if their to close to the cubs. ( Go figure! why do these people blame the bear for the attack). Well enough jabbering. Here are a couple of my photos, and please remember that you can see a lot more on my Flickr account. Just click on my photos on the right side of this page.
Just remember to get your camera out and take some photos.
